A group of people, who loved theatre, gathered in September of 1985 in Naoussa of Paros and they decided to deal more systematically with the amateurish theatre in a region where only "bouloukia" of low quality constituted the theatrical

   
movement.The beginning took place in collaboration with the schools of the region and slowly unfolded in other places as well (N.E.L.E. of Paros, etc.).

In 1993 the Theatrical Group of  Naoussa became part of the Music and Dance Group "Naoussa Paros " with other parallel activities. Person in charge of Adults’ Scene is Ypapanti Roussouand of Children's Scene Sofia Aggelopoulou.
The performances of the Group take place in Naoussa and it usually tours in various parts of Paros and other Cyclades, while performances have taken place in Samos and in Athens. The Theatrical Group has taken part in a lot of Meetings of Amateurish Groups of the Aegean Sea, while it has represented the Aegean Theatre in Cyprusand Constantinople (Istanbul) in 2006.
In the last years the Group activates itself in two levels, Children's Scene and Adults’ Scene, with corresponding work. The aim was and remains the people from Paros to come in touch with theatre, to love it as well as to be given the opportunity to express their artistic concerns.
