SIMPLE STATIC ELECTRICITY DETECTOR
Here i build a simple portable Static Electricity Detector,when the static electricity it is not there is,the red led it is turn on ,if it detect static electricity it turn off.

BUILDING ANOTHER ONE FOR OVER TO MY ROOF - VERSION 1
I decided to build another one to try over to my roof with external antenna.It work at big and fast up-down current μΑ example 250-350 μΑ up-down,it have detected a thunderstorm 80-100 km away,when the up-down current μΑ it is more frequency and strong,example 400-600 μΑ up-down almost continuity,thunderstorm it is aproach.The small up-down μΑ about 100 μΑ up-down,and if there is strong wind my area up-down 150 or little more μΑ,it is normall,because the static electricity it is very sencitivity..Click here for you see the data The Static Electricity Data .

Here it is the components, i will use except the led and paralel a multimeter at for to see the voltage,waterproof box for keep inside the PCB and battery,and a power supply 9 volt DC for the multimeter The PCB it is ready in the waterproof box.IMPORTANT : Finnaly the circuit work correct only with battery to multimeter,and to circuit and not with power supply Here it is the conection in waterproof box on my roof,i thought to put over to my roof,with cable in my home and a volt meter at parallel to led,for to see the change at static electricity when near there are thundersotrms

Here i open holes to PVC and keep it 3 angle brackets with bolt and nuts 3 mm Here i keep over to 3 angle brackets the pan Here it is ready

Here i make a pattent for base with two angle brackets 12,5 x 15 cm for to touch the antenna at the wall Antenna it is ready over to my roof

Here it is the electronic design,it is more sensitivity for version 1 at my test,and with potentiometer it can work more easy, and to show more better the possitive and negative static electricity with out for little sec black out, if there is strong static electricity like version 1.IMPORTANT : The circuit work correct only with battery and not with power supply Here it is the electronic components.Neon bulb must to is in darkness, for this reason i take a black silicone tube ,and i put it inside.The original concept and design at circuit it is Here .But i thought to put over to my roof,with cable in my home and a mΑ meter at serial,for to see the change at static electricity when near there are thunderstorms. Here the second version it is the connection in waterproof box on my roof Here it is the multimeter at μA scale ,near to weather station.When a thunderstorm approach the statistic electricity is change Click here for to see video,thunderstor it was 80-100 km away from my home,you can observe the display μΑ at 0,19 second-0,32 second-0,55 second the current it go up-down,and the rest time about 3 min it is stable almost 720-730 μΑ
