Power supply variable 1,2 V - 32 V 1.5 A
I made a variable Power supply.The circuit i saw from the Greek electronic forum www.hlektronika.gr.For small dimension i will put external AC transformer,220 Volt Ac to 24 Volt AC - 35 VA (1.5 A) for big current at high scale voltage (over from 15 volt dc), and i will change another one external AC transformer 220 Volt AC to 12 Volt AC - 20 VA (1.5 A) for big current at low scale voltage (down from 15 volt dc).This circuit typical is for max current 4-5 A (With biggest hitsink,and with LM 338 TO3 for better.) .But at high input voltage 34 volt AC it warm enough and is for not more load from 1-1.5 A .I use the LM 338T TO 220 .

Here is the electronic circuit for adjustable Power supply with regulator LM 338. Here is the electronic material. Here is the 2 external AC transformers,one 220 volt Ac to 24 volt AC - 35 VA (1.5 A),and another one 220 Volt AC to 12 Volt AC - 20 VA (2 A)

Here i open holes for voltmeter - ammeter. Here i have open all the holes at plastic box for the electronic material. Here i open holes to hitsink for the regulator LM 338T.And for keep the hitsink in the box.

Here i put a metal betwen plastic box and hitsink. Here with screws-nuts i put the regulator over to hitsink and piece metal and all this,touch over to plastic boc. All the electronic components is ready over to plastic box.

Here is ready the cables with soldering iron to voltmeter-annmeter,switch on-off ,e.t.c. It work. Click here for you see video.

Power supply variable 1,2 V - 32 V 3 A
I made a second version,because only the LM338T (TO2) with input 24 V AC after 1 A it was very warm.I added one transistor PNP MJ2955 and two resistor for work it without warm at 1.5 A load .The circuit is for load 3 A.The circuit i saw from the Greek electronic forum www.hlektronika.gr. But i put only one transistor MJ2955.At the end i change with a more power transistor MJ15004 for more current load 5 A.

Here it is a electronic design.But i put only one transistor MJ2955.Resistor R7 i put 33 ´hm 2 watt,and resistor R3 0,1 ohm 5 watt Here i added this electronic material.One transistor MJ2955,one resistor 33 ohm 2 watt,one resistor 0,1 ohm 5 watt,heatsink,and insulation for the transistor Here i put over the plastic box the heatsink with transistor MJ2955

Here i put with soldering iron 3 cables from transistor. Here i added 2 resistor at old circuit,and one clips for transistor cable. And from the other side.
