This site has been designed upon the working assumption that the visitors will be using a minimum resolution of 800x600 and
at least 16-bit colour depth. However, things look much better at 1024x768 and 24-bit or 32-bit colour depth.
While browsing around this site, please, bare in mind that the same image is rarely displayed the same in two different monitors. Common controls such as brightness and contrast, the colour temperature settings that modern monitos allow users to customise and other monitor characteristics such as display geometry and dot-pitch, all have an impact on the quality of the pictures of this site. So, if you don't like how the pictures of this site are diplayed, try to change your monitor's settings a bit and see if you can achieve a more pleasing result. However, what you can do absolutely nothing about is the resolution and colour quality of the pictures here. The use of the JPEG format was inevidable as both the web space provided to me is limited and download times had to be kept down to a reasonable value.
