Other activities - interests
Participation in commons. I was elected representative of the Postgraduate Students of the University of Leeds in 1997 and 1998.
Setting up and maintenance of PCs on a Microsoft network. During my doctorate studies I participated in the group that installed, configured and maintained the PCs of the local network and provided user support.
Computer programming (Visual Basic, Turbo Pascal, Access), webpage authoring, digital photography processing. Creating specific software (Qbasic, Visual Basic, Pascal) and digitally analysing microscope photographs were parts of my doctorate work. I also participated in the group that created the webpages of the Colloids laboratory of the Dept. of Food Science.
