Programs Note

2001 marks the 13th year that we've offered our exclusive fine arts programs in Greece. All of our programs are designed to challenge participants to do their best, most personal work. Both programs use the stimulating visual surroundings and cultural differences as source material for self exploration through the media of choice. The title, "Image Collecting, Experience Documenting, and Art Making in a Greek Island Village", reflects the depth, involvement and freedom we encourage in our participants.

This course provides a unique opportunity for work in a beautiful and intense artistic environment. The Program covers landscape, portraiture, documentation, and darkroom techniques. Emphasis will be on the growth of individual vision and technique during the 4 week course. Class meetings, critique, and darkroom time are a part of each day's structural format.

THESE PROGRAMS ARE OPEN TO ARTISTS OF ANY LEVEL -HOWEVER- KNOWLEDGE OF BASIC DARKROOM TECHNIQUE IS REQUIRED FOR THE PHOTO PROGRAM. Contact the instructor for specific requirements.
